She sees that her trading is profitable, and her lamp does not go out at night. Prov. 31:18

It has been a very long time since I have posted. After 10 years of taking care of my elderly parents they died within 2 days of each other about a year ago at the age of 90. It has taken me this long to get myself back and remember who I am. But I would never change a thing, taking care of my little mama with dementia and Parkinson's and my dad has brought me so much closer to God and learning that I am not in control. And that when I did surrender my will (which was not always easy when people you love are suffering) He did so much better than me. duh! There are many miracles that I will talk about, so many lessons that I learned and of course my artwork to share.
Half of me wants to be there for other caregivers going through what I did and the other half of me wants to just move on and have my whole life for me!  I did not have my life all those years. Even when I was not with them the burden was heavy on my shoulders.  So we shall see what transpires in this new blog. I want to be a disciple of Christ, and while I am not preachy I do hope that I can lead by example. That you can see how God worked and works in my life. That you don't have to be a holy roller, that you can be funny and happy and have God run the show!  I promise you, He has a plan and whatever you are going through is just a puzzle piece in the whole puzzle He is putting together that is you life.
Next time I will write about how God gave us a cottage on a lake.
